Designs by Ginny creates some really fun festive centerpieces using a combination of mylar tissue, custom cut styrofoam, lots of paint
and glitter and a variety of fun embellishments.
These centerpieces are great for events that you want something that is fun and in
character with the theme of the event.
We can create something for any theme that will just take your decor from ordinary to Wow!
We
can add special lighting effects as well.
We also ship, but it does require special consideration when designing a centerpiece to make
it as shipping friendly as possible.
Just for fun we created a centerpiece with our logo and put it on a ceramic candlebase.
We used silver mylar tissue and long metallic strands that cascade over the base.
Our loge was cut out of styrofoam, painted and then
glittered.
The next few pages feature different centerpieces we have created for the specific events but are not exclusive
to those events. You might see an idea from one that you want incorporated with a look from another centerpiece so make sure to check
out all the pages to gather ideas.
We strive to create centerpieces that are unique, not your ordinary run of the mill.
We do not use fresh flowers but do incorporate
silk flowers and greenery when it fits the theme.
To the left is a holiday centerpiece we created with a gift box theme. The
event was about giving gifts back to the community. We used a combination of holdiay papers, holiday ornaments, ribbons and some greenery
for a very simple yet classy piece.
We also created favor boxes using the same gift wrap papers that we used to create the centerpiece. Inside each box was a small pocket
notepad with a design from the paper printed on each notepad sheet of paper.
This is a sample of a piece we created using one of our custom favor boxes as the base for Drexel University.
We used a combination
of silk greenery.
Very simple but a nice touch and getting your logo displayed.
This Chicago Skyline piece we created to use as a backdrop to display a wedding ensemble we created with the Chicago Skyline as the
theme. Mini lights light up the sky.
This centerpeice was created using all custom cut styrofoam pieces. The dragoon is the logo for Drexel University and was the main
focus of this piece. We designed this piece keeping in mind their logo for this event:
This piano themed centerpiece was created for a concert celebrating the artist,
Alexander Toradze
at Indiana University.
The piano were
suspended over a mylar tissue base. On the open cover the name Toradze was cut out of styrofoam and painted and covered with silver
glitter. The piano was also covered in black glitter. Piano keys gave this the look of a real piano. Musical notes were placed on
the music rest and a bud vase with a single rose rested on the top of the piano.
This centerpeice was created for Pepper"s 10th birthday. Yes, Pepper is a dog, so your right when you see colorful dog bones cut from
styrofoam in the base. It's hard to see in the picture but the piece is sitting in a dog bowl.
Moe turned 14 this year and his party was a huge celebration. Las Vegas casino was the party theme and we created 4 really fun centerpieces
